Pastor Deborah praying with people during ministry time at the end of the service
Love and Mercy Fellowship believes that God did not stop performing miracles at the end of the Bible. The church encourages believers to be baptised in the Holy Spirit, and that God empowers His children with the gifts of the Holy spirit as shown in 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, while ensuring that they are used in love as stated in 1 Corinthians 13.
Those in need of prayer are often invited to come to the front and be prayed with at the end of the service, although when issues needing to be dealt with are more personal, an appointment can be made at a convenient time with a member of the ministry team.
As you may notice from the photograph, everyone is encouraged to pray and support each other, it is not just the pastor who is praying.
If you request prayer, don’t be surprised if God speaks to the person praying for you with a personal message, or if you feel the power of God surging through you as you are touched by God.
